PhD
My research is focused around Generative models of images. In particular, during my PhD I have studied procedural models based on shape grammars. Then, in my post-doc, I have considered standard interpolation models (Shannon-Whittaker and B-splines) in the context of accurate sub-pixel matching. More recently, I have focused my attention on deep learning models, and particularly on the statistical characterization of their performance.
